A Selection of Sold Fiber Art
View a selection of fiber art ‘paintings’ that are owned by art collectors world wide. Each fiber painting is created in collaboration, with the twins taking multiple turns, layering fabric and stitching over each other’s work with every exchange. The finished fiber paintings are built up with well over a dozen layers of fabrics and stitching, allowing the subject and composition to develop as the artists react to every layer added to the piece. Through the work of the collaborative process, the finished fiber paintings have a surface quality like that of bas relief.
