Lori is busy at work, painting numerous canvases. After 13 years of working together in fiber, we’ve made a decision to try painting together too. Different from fiber, it’s time to relearn the immediate nature of working in paint. So far the process has been going well. Much like how we work in fiber, we are layering paint over each other’s work on each canvas. In the cityscape painting over Lori’s right shoulder, we were even painting at the same time. We didn’t even realize it until I saw two right hands hovering over the canvas just 6 inches from each other.
