As twins and artists, we were originally known as an oil painter and printmaker.  Over the years, while developing our independent voices as artists, we grew competitive, straining our childhood friendship. In an effort to change the course of our relationship and to regain appreciation for the gift of being twins, we chose to combine elements of printmaking and painting into fiber to form a new process we refer to as fiber painting.

Through our collaboration, we have been challenged to learn how to effectively communicate with one another, and by extension this has taught us about how we all directly affect one another. We feel fortunate we are able to communicate this connection with each other and the world through the very pure language of art.

Over the past 15 years, we’ve had the privilege to visit many places, meet interesting people, and have had the great fortune of being able to create the work of our hearts and souls. None of this would be possible without you and all of your support! We look forward to many more years of work, and are excited to share it with you. Thank you for following us, we can’t wait what comes next on this journey!
